Universities/Education
Most elementary
and high schools, especially new buildings or those constructed in the
last 50 years, have low-slope roofs similar to those on industrial and
commercial buildings. Buildings at traditional universities, and at
schools built more than 50 years ago, present the same challenges as
many church structures. These include steep pitches, complicated intersections
of valleys and ridges, and often require specialty roofing systems such
as slate, tile or metal. Jones & Cleary employs and trains the highly
skilled craftsmen needed to install these specialty systems.

descriptions of some educational institution projects completed by Jones
